For one of our clients, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the financial services industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Information Security Manager (AWS) to join their UK entity in London (hybrid).
Working with our client means joining one of the most recognized leaders in the fintech sector, renowned for their expertise in cloud security. You will have the opportunity to leverage your existing skills while learning from some of the best professionals in the industry.
Your Role:
- Provide security advice to internal teams, translating technical issues into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders and enhancing internal security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Head of Information Security and Head of Cloud Infrastructure to enforce and monitor security controls across Cloud infrastructure, ensuring alignment with regulatory and security requirements.
- Improve security in the CI/CD pipeline using agile DevSecOps practices, conduct application security scans, and work closely with development teams.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, lead threat modelling exercises, support managed security services, and assist in developing strategies to mitigate cyber risks.
- Foster strong team relationships, contribute to knowledge sharing, and ensure compliance with internal policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Your profile:
- University degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Information Security, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on implementing controls, governance, risk assessment, or architecture design.
- Deep expertise in securing cloud environments, especially AWS (mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS, NIST and other security frameworks.
- Experience liaising with external vendors, partners, and auditors.
- Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departments.
