DGH Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading global client based in Birmingham who are looking for an Azure Infrastructure Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. You will provide technical leadership to my clients Azure environment whilst also providing guidance to a team of 3 engineers. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure resources, deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure, automating workflows and processes, and ensuring security and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support across the breadth of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, DevOps, FinOps and Security.
- Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other tools.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for Azure infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. This includes designing disaster recovery solutions, automating deployments using Azure DevOps, and optimizing costs through the use of Azure Cost Management tools.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of Azure services and features.
- Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Centre or Azure Key Vault.
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (highly desirable).
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform, FinOps, Azure modernization, and security best practices.
