A key role within a planning consultancy team, supporting a Partner by managing planning projects, client relationships, and junior staff, while contributing to business development.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage planning projects from initiation to completion.
- Prepare project plans, fee agreements, and ensure outputs meet QA standards.
- Handle invoicing, WIP (Work in Progress), and debt management.
- Represent clients at public consultations or meetings.
- Produce professional-grade planning reports.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff; manage timesheets, holidays, and training.
- Support the Partner in client and business development activities.
- Maintain RTPI Chartered status and engage in CPD.
