Ada Meher are currently partnering with a client based in Sheffield who are looking for an AWS Cloud Team Lead to drive forwards their Cloud Infrastructure, on a hybrid remote basis, working mainly on improving the availability and scalability of their developer and client environments as well as CI/CD pipelines using a variety of AWS technology, including Terraform.
The company are looking for a candidate who has exposure to line management of Cloud professionals as well as experience instigating and driving transformative AWS projects as they seek to constantly improve their AWS/Terraform estate. This will involve working across multiple projects simultaneously using Agile practices.
The ideal candidate will also have knowledge around or an interest in learning other key DevOps areas such as observability, CI/CD pipeline development and config management. The company have a personal development budget available to all staff for such courses and accreditations, to help aid the rounded development of all in the team.
In terms of working flexibility, the company employ a fully flexible hours policy, allowing employees to complete their responsibilities and tasks around their life commitments, not the other way around. However, given the nature of the role they are looking for someone local to Sheffield who is able to be in the office a few days per week.

- Expert experience working with AWS services and architecture
- Strong experience working with Terraform (or other IaC technology)
- Proven team leadership experience
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Observability (Grafana) & Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
