IT Process and Knowledge Manager is needed for a cross-asset trading house. With the rapid growth in profitability, acquisitions and business lines within the organisation, business-focused technology streams are being merged with retail and sales arms of the business with an immense cross over of methodologies, teams/entire organisations quickly becoming apparent that the organisation now needs to be managed at the highest level.

This IT Process and Knowledge Manager is centred around documenting, analyzing, and optimizing IT processes. This will be a strategic position sitting at a high level, assessing IT Processes across the sections of the business (Trading, Retail and Sales) and optimization, assessing workload overlap, L&D , and making sure all three sections are coherent and well integrated.

As an IT Process and Knowledge Manager you will lead assessments and training across the group, at all levels, creating training materials and ensuring centralised coherency. You will upskill the group on relevant topics and areas of interest such as AI in Trading, and you will ensure all areas of the business are up to the same standards, facilitating knowledge share across different teams and sections in the group, making sure best practice is adhered to universally, organising the training workflow, and overseeing service management across the group.

Responsibilities of the IT Process and Knowledge Manager include:

• Process Mapping : Develop process maps to visualize and analyze current IT processes, identifying areas for upskill and streamlining workflows. Utilize advanced process mapping tools and methodologies.
• Process Documentation and Optimization : Document and optimize IT processes, enhancing operational efficiency and improving customer experience across business departments. Implement process improvement strategies to drive operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives.
• Implementation Planning : Plan the implementation and execution of process improvements, ensuring adoption and integration into existing workflows. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
• Repository Management : Maintain a central repository for process documentation, lessons learned, and operational guidelines for future reference. Ensure this is easily accessible and regularly updated, facilitating knowledge share and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge Management : Develop and implement strategies for knowledge management within group IT. Promote knowledge-sharing practices to reduce redundancy and drive continuous improvement. Identify critical knowledge areas and implement advanced KM tools to facilitate efficient knowledge capture, storage, and retrieval.
• Framework Development : Develop and maintain frameworks for IT processes and IT knowledge management to ensure efficient collaboration across all group IT. Establish standardized processes and best practices to promote consistency.
• Training and Best Practices : Create workflows and training materials to ensure IT teams consistently follow best practices. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to upskill IT staff and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
