Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of enterprise data solutions from Teradata to GCP.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute migration strategies.
  • Optimize Teradata SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
  • Proficiency in Teradata architecture, including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Strong skills in SQL optimization and data modelling.
  • Experience with Teradata performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning strategies.
  • Familiarity with Teradata tools such as Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM.
  • Proven experience in migrating Teradata workloads to GCP.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google BigQuery and related GCP services.
  • Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance within cloud environments.
