A Business Intelligence Analyst is needed for a cross asset trading house who, through mergers and acquisitions, as well as exceptional performance, have added extra business lines, profit centres and multiple asset classes onto their trading offering.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to the development and delivery of the Business Intelligence Platform. This will involve acting as part of a centre of excellence, liaising with Data Analysts, Engineers, and Business stakeholders to deliver a self-service solution utilising our modern data platform.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will get exposure across the business and data from different asset classes: Energy, FX, Equities, Commodities, Risk, Finance etc., upskilling the stakeholders in each department to promote a self-service adoption. Therefore, stakeholder communication is key, along with the technical skills.
This role is paying up to £80,000 + Bonus + benefits. The role is hybrid, 2 days per week in the office. Closest stations are Liverpool Street.
Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Analyst include:
- Performing a prominent role in the Data/BI centre of excellence
- BI platform architecture
- Liaising with data analysts to capture requirements
- Working closely with business stakeholders across the various different business lines
- Advanced data modelling
Key Skills for the Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Advanced Power BI (Modelling, Visualisation, Security, Platform Architecture and Administration)
- DAX expressions
- Advanced SQL skills (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL)
- Knowledge of Kimball data modelling methodology
