Our client, a high performing global hedge fund, are looking to make a newly created trader assistant hire in London. The role will have ownership over 5-6 traders/portfolios, which are cross-strategy, to run a broad front office focused remit which includes managing spreads, unwinds, novations, orders, picking up execution tasks etc.
The hire will also work on many ad-hoc tasks & projects for the traders that they cover and process automation projects more broadly within the TA team (coding skills and/or an aptitude to develop coding skills are therefore useful in this role).
The role is budgeted to pay a base salary of between £80 – 110k with a target bonus level of 50% in year one, while longer term TAs globally can typically earn 70-100% bonuses. The fund provides all staff with a great benefits package and whilst this is a desk role, they can offer WFH flexibility.
