We are seeking an experienced Oracle Simphony Consultant to lead and deliver a large-scale POS implementation for a major hospitality brand. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week onsite in Luton, UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop overall architecture for Oracle Simphony POS implementations.
- Set up Simphony environments, including hierarchy and zone setup, menu and pricing configurations, and interface management.
- Lead E2E technical implementations, ensuring alignment with brand standards for menus, pricing, promotions, and workflows.
- Define and deploy POS hardware architecture (CAPS, terminals, tablets, handhelds, KDS, printers, and peripherals).
- Integrate Simphony with Opera PMS, inventory management systems, TMS, OPI, SPI, and other certified tools.
- Perform upgrades and maintenance, including Simphony 19.x GR and MR package updates.
- Analyse POS data and Reporting & Analytics outputs to provide business insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data security regulations.
- Manage seamless transitions between legacy and new POS solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert solution designs.
- Support inventory management solutions and their integration with Simphony.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience in Simphony architecture, ideally within hospitality or retail environments.
- Proven track record delivering Simphony POS implementations across multi-property sites.
- Strong experience in POS upgrades, system maintenance, and data configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Skills:
- Deep expertise in Simphony/POS architecture and API integrations.
- End-to-end data flow design and scalable system architecture experience.
- Strong documentation skills (Solution Design, Integration Design) with Architecture Board experience.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements.
