The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This role is ideal for a Senior Technician with extensive hosted VoIP knowledge, familiar with cloud-based communications solutions, experience in both fixed and mobile telecoms, wireless configuration and a knowledge of the challenges faced by businesses in relation to telecoms and connectivity. The role also offers an opportunity to develop into leading the fixed support team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support, and the configuration, installation & maintenance of customer products and services.

Requirements

  • Full Clean UK Drivers licence

Experience and Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a technical support installation technician role in the telecoms industry
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience configuring Routers, Network switches, Access points, etc.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Hosted VOIP
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in networking and Wi-Fi
  • Experience of dealing with third party service providers
  • Experience using Ms Office and working on a CRM System

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working with Gamma
  • Experience working with Tp-Link, Draytek etc. managed hardware

Skills required:

  • Strong communication skills – a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Professional presentation with a flexible, positive attitude
  • Good proactive, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand the needs of our customers, keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numeric skills
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and terminology and learn new systems and services quickly
