We are hiring for a 3rd Line Exchange Support Engineer to be based in Basingstoke with some travel to other sites in London. This is a permanent role and requires SC and DV Clearance. Salary on offer is between £55K - £60K + Bonus and Full Benefits. You will either hold SC/DV Clearance or be eligible.

Responsibilities:
- As a 3rd Line Exchange Support Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated 3rd Line and Engineering team, providing expert-level support for Microsoft Exchange and related technologies.
- You will assist a high-profile user community via an incident logging system and receive specialist training on legacy infrastructure.
Your Experience & Skills:
- Microsoft Exchange (2013 or later) – Strong understanding of Exchange architecture, services, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration & Communication Tools – Experience with LCS, OCS, LYNC, and SharePoint (2003/2007/2010).
- SharePoint Expertise – Experience with SharePoint Designer, workflows, and web parts.
- Active Directory (AD) – Deep knowledge of forest/domain architecture, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Exchange Components – Proficiency in Exchange Database, OWA, Mail Flow, Public Folders, Free/Busy, and clustering (CCR, SCC, SCR & LCR).
- Backup & Recovery – Experience with backup applications, Exchange database restoration, and high availability features.
- Security & Networking – Understanding of ISA, VPN, RAS, DNS, SAN, and Server Hardware/RAID.
- Troubleshooting & Monitoring Tools – Proficiency in using Exchange Best Practice Analyzer, MPS Reports.
- ITIL Best Practices – Familiarity with ITIL methodologies for structured service management.
