An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join this growing organisation, part of a larger Group that provides precision engineering services to a range of industries including aerospace, motorsport, defence, energy and automotive. They have recently invested significantly in new machinery.
You will support manufacturing activities by directing best methods of manufacture and target areas of improvement using a Lean approach. You will lead technical discussions with customers, quote lead times and costs for jobs, support NPI projects, assist in CI activities and support the operational team including programming CNC Milling and Turning machines to meet customer demand.
Ideally with a minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering, you will have significant machining experience especially with high precision milled and turned parts. Experience in Fanuc and Heidenhain languages is essential. You will also have experience of setting up production trials and be able to implement 5S activities and use Cad/Cam software.
