A successful fundraising company are hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their data team in London. You will be joining as the first Analytics Engineer in the business, taking ownership over analytics engineering and delivering impactful projects in this space whilst collaborating with the wider data team.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Analytics Engineer will include, but not be limited to:
- Spearhead the Analytics Engineering function for the company, leading key initiatives and helping implement a strategy & roadmap for the business.
- Engage with the wider data team including data engineers, scientists & analysts to deliver impactful projects at scale for their consumers.
- Engage with business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts and products to non-technical audiences.
- Mentor more junior team members on projects and be the subject matter expert for analytics engineering within the team.
A successful Senior Analytics Engineer will have the following:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering/analytics engineering with proven hands-on experience in BI/product analytics.
- Extensive knowledge of dbt & SQL.
- Experience using data visualisation tooling such as Looker.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage regularly with business stakeholders.
- Knowledge/experience in Python is desirable but not essential.
