Are you an experienced IT Auditor looking for a genuinely flexible hybrid opportunity within a diverse FTSE environment that offers proven career progression?
The major consumer business has strong employee engagement and a commitment to internal progression and development. The business is based in the greater London area, but offers hybrid flexibility of 1-2 days per week in the office and limited requirements to travel.
Reporting to the IT Audit Director in this newly-created opportunity, you will be part of their substantial well-respected audit team.
You will primarily be responsible for the leading (on rotation) and delivery of a wide range of technology audits right across the diverse operations and technology environments that the business operates. The audits are not just your “typical” ITGC or IT SOx work, you can expect to be challenged with audits in areas including cybersecurity, vulnerability detection and protection, data, 3rd party, SAS, SDLC, cloud, data centres and AI.
Hence the breadth of work that you will undertake is unparalleled – both in terms of the nature of the audits and the diverse range of businesses (and therefore different risk environments) that comprise this complex Group.
As the ideal candidate, you will:
- Be degree educated with a technology orientated degree and/or a technology governance qualification eg CISM, CISSP, CISA or equivalent
- Be an experienced technology internal auditor with a background within a “Big 4” firm and ideally have “in-house” experience within the Internal Audit function of a large/complex UK business.
- Have a broad range of technology audit experience – particularly in the areas of cyber security, data and infrastructure/architecture
- Be able to identify and clearly articulate technology risks, evaluate controls and raise recommendations for improvement that have a genuine impact
- Be an effective written and verbal communicator, including being able to propose practical actions and tailor communications to a variety of levels of stakeholder with varied levels of technology risk understanding including senior-level stakeholders.
- Have a commercial view and be able to link technology strategy to business strategy
- Be confident in manipulating data to drive audit insight and efficiency using various tools including Microsoft Excel and data analytics software.
- Demonstrate a robust and independent mindset with the confidence to raise issues appropriately
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver to deadline including leading small teams.
- Be ambitious with a genuine passion for broadening your knowledge of technology audits, risk management and controls
On offer is a base salary of £70,000 – £80,000 (DOE) and generous benefits package
