Reserving Actuary/Analyst

A Lloyd's Syndicate is looking to hire a Reserving Analyst/Actuary to join their team in London. The team does 3 days per week in the office.

The role will be either Analyst or Actuary title dependent on FIA qualification.

In this role you will gain exposure to a breadth of lines of business that they write. You will be involved in BAU reserving work (quarterly reserving) and you will also be involved in their transformation project. Therefore any python or SQL coding experience is advantageous.

You will report into the Reserving Manager, and there is the opportunity to help mentor more junior members of the team.

They are looking to speak to those who are Nearly or Newly Qualified, and who have had experience in reserving from either a consultancy or in-house basis. Candidates should be able to work independently and take ownership of their work. Prior experience in Lloyd's/London Market is advantageous.
