THE COMPANY:
Our client is an insurance company with a wealth of underwriting experience and expertise, operating from an independent platform at Lloyd’s of London.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritising risks across the organisation. Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Assist in the internal model validation process, providing support and insights to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Help develop and update risk management policies and procedures. Ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations based on risk assessments.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management. Engage with external stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute or lead aspects of in-depth reviews of specific risk areas to uncover underlying issues and opportunities for improvement. Provide detailed analysis and actionable recommendations.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A proven experience of working in teams with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and develop excellent relationships will be paramount
- Intellectual curiosity, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrable experience of operating within a varied and busy Risk Management environment within an Insurance firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on precision and accuracy
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities, and structure work to meet internal requirements
