Are you an experienced Private Client Paralegal looking for your next step in a highly respected legal team? We’re working with a leading UK law firm to find a talented and driven individual to join their Personal & Family practice based in Edinburgh.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Scotland’s largest and most experienced teams of private client specialists. You will handle a varied caseload from day one, with direct client contact across a diverse range of individuals, families, executors, and trustees – both within the UK and internationally.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing the administration of trusts and executries, including high-value taxable estates
- Preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Supporting guardianship matters and asset protection strategies
- Liaising directly with clients and providing a first-class service
- Collaborating with partners, solicitors, tax specialists, and fellow paralegals
- Ensuring strong financial management of your own caseload
- Contributing to the continued development and excellence of the team
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a private client team is essential
- Strong background in executries, trusts, and will drafting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- A confident, approachable manner with a genuine interest in personal legal matters
- A proactive mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning
- Case management and IT system knowledge a plus (training available)
