HR PMO

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a HR PMO on a remote basis for an initial 4-6 month contract.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The role of the HR PMO is to support governance, controls and delivery processes related to the workstream, including:
  • Tracking status of programme deliverables and milestones, ensuring an accurate position against the plan is reflected at all times
  • Workstream RAID co-ordination; identifying, escalating, reporting and managing to closure
  • Support governance and reporting cycles e.g. status reports and meeting minutes/action logs
  • Conducting and supporting project closure activities and lessons learned reviews
  • Monitoring the status of workstream activities transitioning into Business as Usual
  • Establishing methods to track delivery of benefits defined in the business case
  • Driving and supporting initiative delivery through standard methodologies
  • Ensuring compliance of initiative with the clients Change Framework and the HR Change Governance Process
  • Co-ordination of workstream-related workshops and events

Leadership & Behaviours:

  • Reporting to the TAO TOM Delivery Lead
  • Supporting the TAO Governance Lead with overall programme governance
  • Working with peers across the TAO Programme PMO team
  • Connecting with stakeholders in the Talent Acquisition and broader programme team

Key Skills:

  • Experience of PMO support on a large, global programme with relevant project management knowledge
  • Understanding of RAID, RAG statuses and ideally an understanding of how to manage a plan
  • Tenacity to support delivery against a complex plan, connecting with multiple stakeholders for updates and inputs
  • Strong organisational skills to track progress against a complex plan, ensuring accurate position is reflected
  • Experience in identifying and escalating risks, issues and dependencies impacting plan delivery
  • Ability to summarise progress and articulate in simplified reporting for programme management
  • Eye for detail ensuring accuracy, quality and completeness of information being shared
  • Ability to provide clear, accurate and succinct meeting notes
  • Organisation of workshops and similar readiness activities
  • Demonstrable experience of taking responsibility and self-organisation to deliver day-to-day tasks
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, building strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders
  • Confidence to work with challenging stakeholders and work with them on a regular basis
  • Demonstrable ability to operate within a dynamic group-wide transformational change programme
  • Comfortable using Excel, Jira and PowerPoint

Advantageous skills and experience:

  • PRINCE2, or relevant Programme/Project Management qualifications
