Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Manager on a Full-Time basis has opened at our Britvic site in Lutterworth. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will cover multiple functions. It is a night shift role working Monday to Friday.

Salary £40,657.31 per annum plus £5,053.76 shift premium per annum.

How will you contribute:

  • Motivate and manage the team to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives.
  • Effective management of resources to achieve KPI\’s (cost, quality, service, and absence).
  • Ensure a proactive approach to Health & Safety via risk assessment and by ensuring that warehouse team members comply with Health and Safety policies and requirements.
  • Conduct regular individual reviews and when necessarily agree a performance improvement plan.
  • Time & Attendance management.
  • Process control of order, loading/tipping of vehicles and the returns operation.
  • Responsible for ensuring excellent working relationships with the Customer representatives.
  • Must be proactive in seeking improvements in process/methods of operating and also in the introduction of best practice within the site.

• Must have relevant experience of working in a high-pressure environment with the ability to manage a team of staff towards achieving objectives.

• Must be an effective communicator and able to demonstrate well developed skills in team building.

• Customer focused, able to build effective relationships with team, customer and other third parties.

• Skills in and knowledge of warehouse management systems.

• Will possess excellent communication skills; both verbal and written at all levels.

• Must be able to demonstrate the commitment, enthusiasm, and flexibility to work various shift patterns to respond to seasonal customer demand.

• Working in a time critical, target driven environment, must be able to work as part of a site team, yet make decisions in isolation.
