ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Routine inspecting, troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and repair HGVs and parts to the highest standards, ensuring roadworthiness.
  • Work on braking systems, axles, suspension, and more.
  • ABS/EBS and diagnostics, training provided if required.
  • Ensure equipment meets safety requirements.
  • Draft and submit inspection reports.
  • Monitor and document repairs.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 2+ years experience as a HGV Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter
  • Experience with trailers advantageous
  • MAMF, Plant Fitter or National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
  • Team player who can work independently or within a large group
