Roberts Vain Wilshaw is a dynamic and growing firm of Chartered Surveyors who specialise in Commercial Property providing a range of services including Business Rates advice. Our surveyors have extensive knowledge and experience, and we are the retained rating and commercial property experts for Place North West.
Our ethos is that we provide expert advice, backed up by traditional values and innovative technology. Covering the whole country, we have recently opened a second office in the Midlands which is one of the reasons we are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our Sales Team.
Working on a variety of campaigns, you will reach out to prospective clients, dealing with Directors and Finance Managers, with the aim of booking an appointment for one of our team of surveyors to discuss a potential savings opportunity. This is a new business role, but we only target opportunities with significant financial benefits, and you will have all the data you need to back this up. You won’t be micromanaged, but you need to make an average of 50 calls per day.
What matters though is what you say and how you say it. We don’t have a script, although of course you will receive full training. We want you to have a conversation with potential clients, to explain the benefits of what we do and how we do it and start to build a trusted relationship.
Ideally you will have previous telesales / sales experience. What is vital is that you are a good communicator, able to listen, adapt, and react to changing situations and think on your feet. You are credible, able to develop trust and convince potential clients to invest their time in us.
You will need to be self-motivated, tenacious, and resilient as this is a competitive market and you will hear no many times. However, you will be supported all the way by a knowledgeable, experienced, professional and friendly team. It is a small team, but that means you can really make a difference to the growth of our business.
The basic salary is up to £30,000 and commission is uncapped genuinely each phone call can make a difference. We also offer 30 days holiday, Company Pension with 3% Employer Contribution and on-site parking.
Based in Preston Brook, on the M56 corridor, the role is office based. We work Monday to Thursday 9:00 - 5:30 with an earlier finish on Friday.
