We are looking for someone who can work using their own initiative and cope with competing priorities to join our friendly team.
As a Business Administrator for the Carers Break and Engagement team you will be responsible for processing new referrals, answering phone calls, booking appointments and general administration duties. You will work as part of a team of administrators and will receive excellent support and training.
Applicants are not expected to have a detailed knowledge of Council services or teams, as full training will be provided but must be able to accurately input and record information and manage a busy workload. Applicants with any relevant customer service and administration experience are encouraged to apply. Evidence of experience can be through work, volunteering, or personal pursuits. Applicants are encouraged to look at the requirements listed on the person specification and write their application with these in mind.

We are looking or candidates who:
1. Can remain calm under pressure
2. Have both verbal and written communication skills
3. Can work as part of a team and able to work independently
4. Can collate information to produce summary reports.
5. Have attention to detail.
7. Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
This role is Monday – Friday. Full induction and training will be provided, along with one to one support via supervision. We also offer opportunity for personal development .
