Our Friendly Dental Practice in Barnoldswick is easily accessible. The bus station is located a 2-minute walk away from the practice. There is limited time parking available outside the practice, however there are 2 free car parks close by where you can park all day for free.

The practice offers 3 surgeries, and there are currently 3 clinicians working at the practice on different days, offering a range of treatments including airflow/whitening. The patients of the practice are longstanding regular visitors attending hygiene/therapy appointments.

Employed or self-employed: Self Employed

Saturday: 9am until 12.30pm – 1 day through the week negotiable.

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Carry out a high quality dental therapy treatment direct to patients or under the prescription of a dentist in line with current legislation and regulations.
  • Obtain a detailed dental history from patients and evaluate their medical history.
  • Carry out a clinical examination within your competence.
  • Complete periodontal examination and charting and use the indices to screen and monitor periodontal disease.
  • Diagnose a treatment plan within your competence.
  • Prescribe radiographs.
  • Take, process and interpret various film views used in general dental practice.
  • Plan the delivery of care for patients.
  • Keep full, accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
  • Give appropriate patient advice.
  • Provide preventative oral care.
  • Provide teeth whitening to the prescription of a dentist.
