Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Paint Line Labourer.

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm and 6:45am - 12:45pm on a Friday. Uniform will be provided and an allowance for safety boots.

Our client is a well-established, growing business with ambitious growth plans. As a Paint Line Labourer your key activities will be focused on loading / hanging components onto the paint line hooks, ready to be painted. A high level of attention to detail is required as care needs to be taken to load components carefully to ensure the best finish. This is a physical role, requiring you to lift and hang components on hooks above your head; some larger components can be heavy. You will be required to contribute to our continuous improvement activities in your work area. In addition to these requirements, you may be asked to perform other duties by your line manager to support the development of the business objectives.

Key Competencies:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills, to read and follow instructions and count required parts.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Keen eye for detail and a conscientious attitude.
  • Take pride in completing a good job.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Possess the capability of keeping high levels of concentration whilst sometimes completing repetitive tasks.
  • Physically fit and able to lift repeatedly during your shift.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment (fabrication preferable).

Salary & Benefits:

  • £12.60 – £13.52ph dependant on experience.
