Location: Donington Park & Stanford on Soar

Job Description / Skills:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Assistant to join our Service Department. This role would suit someone who enjoys tinkering, solving problems, and getting stuck into practical tasks. Whether you have existing experience or are just starting out, we’ll provide the training and support you need to grow in the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Service, test and prepare equipment for customer orders and stock
  • Diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs
  • Support the team with day-to-day departmental tasks
  • Work methodically to ensure equipment is reliable and customer-ready

Essential Skills:

  • Great attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Logical fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:

  • A basic understanding of IT networking (not essential, but a bonus)
  • Basic electrical principles (not essential, but a bonus)
