Job Description

We are looking for a Cafe Assistant to join the team at Bletchley Park.

We Offer:

  • Rate: £11.44 per hour
  • Shifts: 2 days out of 7, including Weekends, and Bank Holidays
  • Contract: Part Time, Temporary

About the Cafe Assistant role:

  • Make sure the unit is fully stocked and ready for customers
  • Operating the till, and handling card and cash payments
  • Ensuring the customers have a pleasant experience at all times
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness
  • Informing patrons about menu items, specials, events, and products or services
  • Taking orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
  • Operating coffee machines and other equipment
  • Ensure correct storage of food and stock rotation ie checking 'use by dates'
  • Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
  • Maintain Health and Safety Standards

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
