Job Description
We are looking for a Cafe Assistant to join the team at Bletchley Park.
We Offer:
- Rate: £11.44 per hour
- Shifts: 2 days out of 7, including Weekends, and Bank Holidays
- Contract: Part Time, Temporary
About the Cafe Assistant role:
- Make sure the unit is fully stocked and ready for customers
- Operating the till, and handling card and cash payments
- Ensuring the customers have a pleasant experience at all times
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Informing patrons about menu items, specials, events, and products or services
- Taking orders and accurately entering them into the ordering system
- Operating coffee machines and other equipment
- Ensure correct storage of food and stock rotation ie checking 'use by dates'
- Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards
Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
