We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer with a strong technical background in the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of photocopier / printer machines such as Konika Minolta, Kyocera & Utax. In addition to technical duties, the engineer will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing excellent service, including recommending and selling relevant products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and set up photocopier machines and related equipment at client sites.
- Attending call outs and collecting copy cost readings.
- Perform regular servicing and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service, technical support and after sales service.
- Identify opportunities to sell products, guide customers to suitable solutions, provide quotations and costings.
- Up sell and cross sell photocopier-related products.
- Complete service reports, documenting work completed, parts used, and follow-up requirements.
This role will service clients across Dungannon / Omagh / Cookstown / Fermanagh / Armagh areas.
Requirements:
- Technical ability - Installation, Repair & Maintenance of Equipment - at least 3 years.
- Experience in maintenance of photocopiers and printers is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Full clean UK driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
