The predicted salary is between 22700 - 29100 £ per year.

Location: National Training Centre or homebased with travel

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Canine Partners' mission is to change the lives of disabled people using expertly trained dogs to improve physical, emotional and social wellbeing. To help us create amazing partnerships, we need amazing people. Canine Partners has an exciting opportunity for a talented Individual Giving Officer to join our dedicated Fundraising Team. This is an incredible role at a prominent assistance dog charity where your role will be a part of our essential work that transforms lives every day.

What you will do:

  • You will be responsible for raising vital income from individuals via appeals, in memory, regular giving and our weekly lottery.
  • Working with our beneficiaries and hearing their stories, your focus will be on delivering compelling appeals and marketing our individual giving campaigns digitally and physically; ensuring exceptional donor journeys when stewarding existing relationships and creating new ones.

It is an exciting time to join us as the charity marks its 35th anniversary this year and we will be doing lots to celebrate! This is a major area of growth for the charity which will have lots of investment in products and you will have the opportunity to take real ownership of these areas.

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in individual giving and appeal management.
  • A successful track record of securing and maintaining income from individuals.
  • Proven experience of effectively managing relationships with volunteers, supporters, and external audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing campaigns and appeals on all digital platforms.
  • Excellent written communication with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to record and maintain information on a charity database (e.g., Salesforce).

This role can be delivered either from our purpose-built training centre in the rural countryside of Osgathorpe, Leicestershire on a hybrid working basis, or remotely from home with travel to the training centre to support with site-based tasks particularly during appeals.
