The Role

Wrightbus is currently hiring Assembly Operatives to support the production of zero-emission buses at its Ballymena facility. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in using hand tools and working within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for assembling vehicle components, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fabricate vehicle parts in line with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including metal, wood, laminate, and fibreglass.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and air tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting production deadlines.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Operate plant equipment and machinery as required.
  • Be willing to work overtime when requested by management.
  • Undertake training and development to stay up to date with new techniques and practices.
