We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering Manager to join our Eurest team at DP World based in Essex.
Services include: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Vending, Hospitality and Coffee Shop.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operational Management: Lead daily catering operations, ensuring high standards in food, service, and presentation.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate staff to deliver consistent service excellence.
- Client Relations: Serve as the main client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations.
- Financial Control: Manage budgets, control costs, and report on financial performance.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Supplier & Stock Management: Oversee procurement and stock to optimize cost and reduce waste.
- Event Coordination: Plan and deliver internal and external catering events.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Drive environmentally responsible practices across the operation.
About You:
- Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale catering operations, ideally within a Business & Industry environment.
- Strong background in team leadership, client management, and financial accountability.
- Experience in managing high-volume service.
- Skills & Competencies: Commercially astute with good understanding of cost control and budget management.
- Proficient in health, safety, and food hygiene standards (Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Confident in using catering and management systems (e.g., stock control, scheduling, reporting).
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle due to location.
