A fast-growing commercial law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its expanding team in Birmingham. This is a pivotal role, supporting the launch of a brand-new office and serving a strong pipeline of commercial clients across the Midlands and beyond.
You will lead on a range of commercial property matters, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant work. Clients include developers, investors, landlords, retailers, and corporate occupiers. You will be comfortable working independently, managing your own caseload, and building client relationships from day one.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling commercial lease negotiations (new leases, renewals, assignments, subleases)
- Acting for both landlords and tenants in retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use premises
- Advising on property acquisitions, disposals, and title matters
- Liaising with agents, surveyors, and other professionals
- Supporting the Birmingham office's business development and growth plans
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, with at least 5 years' PQE
- Strong experience in landlord and tenant matters for commercial clients
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Commercially astute, with a proactive approach to client care
- Ambitious and enthusiastic about being part of a growing team
- Competitive salary in line with experience, ideal entry level Associate/Senior Associate
