A leading, global construction and consultancy firm with a reputation for delivering some of the world’s most complex and iconic projects in sectors such as healthcare, residential, commercial, and infrastructure is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a £150M+ healthcare development located near King's Cross, London. This prestigious project, which has 18–24 months remaining, will deliver cutting-edge healthcare facilities that will have a lasting impact on the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the electrical installation and commissioning across the project, ensuring adherence to all technical, safety, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Take responsibility for the management of all electrical aspects of the project, from early design through to final handover.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety requirements across the site.
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory standards.
- Act as the key point of contact for electrical issues and ensure effective problem-solving throughout the project.
- Prepare reports and attend regular meetings with senior stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or large-scale projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and electrical installations.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and subcontractors.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS (black or gold), and ideally First Aid certification.
