A respected provider of multidisciplinary engineering services, known for its high-profile project delivery across various sectors, is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to assist with both the pre-construction and delivery phases of large-scale electrical projects. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the electrical scope from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
In this dual-phase role, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing electrical projects from the early stages of design and planning through to full-scale execution, working alongside project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the pre-construction phase, supporting the planning, design, and development of electrical systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications and schedules.
- Oversee the procurement of electrical materials, ensuring timely delivery to meet project milestones.
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed electrical project schedules, coordinating with the overall project timeline.
- Lead and supervise electrical installation activities during the delivery phase, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise during both pre-construction and delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to electrical teams on-site, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Monitor progress against project timelines, adjusting resources or schedules as required to meet key deadlines.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including health and safety requirements.
- Manage client relationships, providing regular updates on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client expectations are met.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Manager, with a strong background in both pre-construction and project delivery phases.
- In-depth technical knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in managing electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capability to effectively liaise with clients, design teams, and on-site personnel.
