A fantastic opportunity to take on this newly created role within a specialist travel company based in the Brighton area. This role reports directly to the MD/Founder and will lead and play a hands-on role in delivering a number of IT projects.
IT Project Manager Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement the plan for new technologies in the business to support growth plans.
- Work closely with an external software company who are creating a bespoke reservations system on its functionality, implementation and troubleshooting of any issues once live.
- Develop a deep understanding of the organisation's in-house systems, websites and processes in order to identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain and continually seek ways to improve the business technology capabilities.
- Manage budgets and third-party suppliers.
- In conjunction with the outsourced IT support provider, play a hands-on role in supporting the business with any technology issues, upgrades and changes.
IT Project Manager Skills Required
- Previous Technology Management / IT Project Management experience gained in the travel industry with an understanding of reservation systems and business/process flows within a travel business.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience working with budget restraints more common in small to mid-sized organisations.
- An ability and willingness to 'roll your sleeves up' and play a hands-on role delivering projects and supporting the business where necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to bring together technical and non-technical stakeholders.
IT Project Manager Additional Details
- A competitive salary dependent on experience (to be discussed on application).
- Office based in the Brighton area 4 days a week with the option to work remotely 1 day per week.
