Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join their team on a contract basis. The role is hybrid with offices based in Central London. Ideally, candidates will have experience in Finance and SAP architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and govern end-to-end solution designs for projects, programmes, and change requests, ensuring alignment with principles, tech priorities, and roadmaps.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with business, IT, and third-party contacts.
- Ensure the quality of solutions delivered and maintain up-to-date architecture repositories.
- Manage design process alignment with internal and external partners and support technology vendor relationships.
- Balance design changes and trade-offs considering business priorities and technical debt minimization.
- Own the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Design Authority (DA), managing IT/Technical Debt within your domain.
- Oversee IT estate management to identify and mitigate risks.
- Minimize capability duplication and ensure solutions are well documented and accessible.
- Support strategic decision-making and maintain agility in response to events.
- Deliver migration plans from current to future states.
- Assist with RFI/RFP processes and vendor selection using standardized approaches and assessment tools.
- Engage with internal and external SMEs, staying updated with the latest technology trends.
