Working within a faculty of the school, the teacher will teach and support the learning of pupils in accordance with the policies of the faculty and the school. Teaching will consist of classes at all levels and stages, including Personal Development. Success in the teaching responsibilities of the post will be determined by the improved outcomes, participation and successes achieved by the young people for whom the teacher is responsible.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified GTCS registered teachers. This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application, if your salary is over £30,000 per annum, which will be deducted from your first salary.
