THE ROLE
As VFX Project Manager, you will have oversight of the whole project and manage clients effectively.
- Oversee the overall direction and execution of the VFX project.
- Build and maintain a clear, realistic schedule for the VFX team.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and adjust timelines as needed.
- Ensure that creative and technical aspects of the project align with the client’s brief.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client, managing their expectations and communication.
- Ensure client feedback is properly understood and translated into actionable tasks.
- Oversee the team’s workflow, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Provide leadership and support to the VFX team, maintaining a positive and productive environment.
- Review the final quality of deliverables before they are sent to the client.

THE PERSON
With previous experience as a long-form VFX Project Manager or Senior Coordinator, you will have an in-depth knowledge of CGI and be comfortable managing complex projects from start to finish. Excellent workflow management skills are essential as is the ability to lead and support teams. You will be a strong communicator and have extensive previous experience of working with clients and managing their expectations effectively. Previous experience of using Shot Grid is essential.
