We have a number of exciting opportunities for Planners / Planning Engineers of all levels, to join our busy and expanding Infrastructure business, supporting a major London based airport deliver a range of high value projects. Owing to the complex nature of the works involved, these opportunities will suit Planning professionals with previous aviation / airport experience, with proven track records of successful delivery in major international airport environments.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) providing a robust schedule for the sub-programme work scope integrating to the programme through dependency milestones.

SCOPE:
  • Provide advice to contractors on the structure and content of their schedules.
  • Support the process through input of current schedule plans.
  • Produce schedule reports supporting the effective communication of schedule status in line with client requirements.
  • Assess the impacts (time & cost) of proposed baseline changes, supporting the input of schedule impact assessments to eChange.
  • Review the content of instructed PMIs and their implementation within the contractors schedule.
  • Support the development of appropriate planning working practices for the sub-programme.
  • Work in adherence to the appropriate client processes and sub-programme working practices / processes.
Qualifications:

In order to be able to carry out the duties of the role as required, candidates will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding/experience of the following: P6 schedule development and administration, detailed schedule development, assuring design schedules, assuring contractor schedules, schedule risk analysis, schedule interface management, accepted programme management under NEC. Previous airports experience an advantage.
