12-Month Contract £35 per hour PAYE + £4.27 per hour holiday pay / £39.51 per hour Umbrella. Hybrid working - 3 days per week on site.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for delivering procurement activity for the Initial Provisioning of Base Spares of work assigned, including the execution of the end-to-end procurement process e.g. delivery of information, products to quality, cost and schedule requirements. Managing supplier performance and improvement activity, including proactive risk and opportunity management and developing, maintaining and managing stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, control, execute, and monitor procurement and major subcontracting activities with minimal supervision.
  • Source, negotiate, place, and manage contracts across the full Supply Chain Lifecycle.
  • Effectively manage sub-contract changes and resolve supply issues to meet programme requirements.
  • Update procurement systems (SAP eDMS / Teamcenter) accurately and in line with policy.
  • Continuously review and improve supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Support supplier development initiatives in collaboration with Supply Chain Strategy and Supplier Quality Assurance teams.
  • Contribute to business-wide change and improvement projects.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Supply Chain or Procurement experience essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/Purchase Order systems.
  • Experience managing contracts in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Knowledge of supplier operations and developing optimisation strategies.
