Seeking part-time work? Would you like to support people with mental health support needs into employment? This role would suit someone who can start ASAP and has experience working as an employment advisor. A well-regarded charity has been asked by the DWP to support a group of 30 job seekers (aged 18+) back into work. Clients are based across Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond.

The role is around 20 hours per week, to be delivered Monday to Friday (between 9am-5pm). You can spread these hours over 3 or 4 days, depending on your availability. This is a fixed-term contract until 30th September 2025, with a target of helping 9 individuals into employment during this time. The role may be extended, as the charity aims to retain staff where possible.

You’ll hold your first meetings with clients at the local job centre. Ongoing support is then provided in the community, where you’ll deliver IAG support including:

  • CV writing
  • Job searching
  • Interview preparation
  • Better off calculations

You must have experience as an employment advisor or similar (e.g. job coach, careers advisor, employment consultant), be able to start quickly, and have a genuine motivation for part-time work.
