Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a UHNW residence in Marylebone, is looking for an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook to support the smooth daily running of their home.
This is a live-out, part-time position, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys both meticulous housekeeping and preparing healthy, home-cooked meals.
- Rate: £20–£23 per hour, depending on experience
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Central London
- Hours: Part-time (approx. 20–25 hours per week) 09:30-14:30 or 10:30-15:30
- Schedule: Ideally mornings to afternoon, with some flexibility
About the Household
- This is a respectful and well-run private residence with one principal in part-time residence.
- The household is informal, but high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation are expected.
- The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, proactive in their duties, and discreet in their manner.
Housekeeper/Cook Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the home
- Cleaning of all rooms including kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
- Laundry and ironing (including care for delicates)
- Organisation of wardrobes and storage spaces
- Monitoring and replenishing household supplies
- Preparing simple, healthy meals (mostly lunches or early dinners)
- Familiarity with dietary preferences and ability to follow recipes
- Kitchen clean-up after cooking
- Occasional grocery shopping or order management
- Accepting deliveries and managing errands when required
- Preparing the home for occasional guests
- Pet care or light plant care if applicable (minimal)
Housekeeper/Cook Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a private household or similar setting
- Strong housekeeping and home cooking skills
