My client, a globally recognised market leader within their sector, is looking to recruit a Project Manager with a background in Security/Crypto to work for their Glasgow office. The work is to be initially performed on a 12-month contract basis, after which there is the possibility for the work to then become permanent.
In this position as Project Manager Security, you will work in my client's centre for Crypto and Security.
Responsibilities:- Working to implement the process and procedures that are required to comply with emerging security legislation
- Working with cross-functional teams across the Business Lines and operations to implement the technical requirements
- Building project plans, financial plans, and driving the execution
- Working as a member of the strategic team and driving their vision
- Reporting to upper management on project status
- Performing risk management for running projects and lessons learned for future projects
- Have a strong project management background
- Have a driving and result-oriented personality
- Have good communication and networking skills
- Have good strategic thinking skills
- Be engaged, self-motivated with an adaptive way of working
- Have good English skills
- Having experience with technical working environments would be an asset
- It is preferred that the candidate has a technical qualification to degree level
