SmartSourcing are hiring a Government Digital Data and Pay Reward Manager for 6 months - Hybrid working London/Manchester or Bristol. Start date ASAP/BPSS. Rate up to 350 p/d Inside IR35.
You will have experience of:
- Analytical skills, modelling pay data, drawing inferences, testing models
- Excel skills; including pivot tables, some what-if analysis
- Influencing stakeholders via oral and written media
- Working in a pay and reward role; using market data, helping design pay and benefit practice and addressing challenges relating to pay and reward
- An understanding of reward tools and practices and evidence of implementation
- External pay benchmarking working with data to inform strategy
- Demonstrable evidence of thinking critically, using analysis and challenging assumptions
You will:
- Focus on pay and reward for the Government's Digital and Data profession of over 25,000 who work in multiple departments and arm's length bodies
- Conduct market pay analysis to inform the drafting of new 2025 business cases on Senior Civil Service roles
- Incorporate Cyber roles (now being brought properly into the fold)
- Update current Government Digital and Data roles for 2025 data
- Capture and analyse UK employment practice on bonuses and non-pay benefits to help build a profession-led reward approach for a future business case
- Review and analyse departments' business cases to adopt, or extend, the pay framework focusing on spreadsheet analysis of departments' data, and savings estimates
- Complete templates
- Advise and support departments' implementation preparation
- Advise and support new adopting departments on capability assessment
- Build a library of adopting departments' documentation and agreements connected to framework implementation
- Support the pay and reward lead as necessary
