Network IT are looking for an exceptional Lead Power BI Developer, an expert in all things Power BI and its related tools who will take ownership of our clients' Power Reporting Platform in conjunction with a significant data warehouse migration project.
This role will require someone to transfer their technical, hands-on Power BI experience to advise stakeholders on what data they are ingesting and how they are doing it, and use insights from various sources to drive key decision making. This role will require you to be in-office in Birmingham 2 days a week, so being able to commute to Birmingham regularly is essential.
Experience
- The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI tools and systems to create data-rich dashboards, write DAX expressions, and implement low-level security.
- You will take your proven ability to design, develop and implement advanced BI solutions in accordance with critical stakeholders and their requirements.
- Candidates who have experience developing custom BI products using SQL, R and Python to tailor said solution is highly desirable.
- You should also have exposure and knowledge in data integration, data warehousing, data modelling, and data presentation concepts.
- Other components of a successful candidate in this role include extensive report writing using Tableau or SAP BOBJ.
- A keen eye on user experience.
- Proven experience covering the end-to-end system development lifecycle.
- Mentored junior BI resources.
