Role Overview
Nevisport is an outdoor clothing and equipment retailer , specialising in climbing, skiing, camping and general outdoor gear. Nevisport was historically acquired by Jacobs & Turner (who trade under the Trespass name) and operate within the Trespass Head Office.
As the Buying & Merchandising Assistant, we are looking for someone with a real passion for the outdoors and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. This role will be key in driving the company forward.
Job role
- To support the buying/merchandising team in all aspects.
- Monitor stock & sales in each store and move stocks when needed.
- To take care of the day to day needs of the stores.
- Store stock transfers.
- Write-off lost/stolen stock from stores.
- To assist with order raising/checking.
- To assist with information sharing with stores/web team.
- To monitor store discounts.
- To assist with the input of stock take info/results.
- To file all catalogues/price lists.
- Assist with stock replenishment.
- POS: ordering, liaising with stores and graphics team.
- To ensure that the sale info reaches stores/web in a timely and orderly fashion.
- To create buying files to correlate with all orders placed.
- Chasing brands for order confirmations/checking against orders placed.
- Reviewing intake to ensure all deliveries are on time.
- Constant contact with stores and suppliers.
- Provide the buyers with all forms of marketing support.
Experience required
- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a necessity.
