A leading industrial / roller shutter door manufacturers and installers based in Birmingham, West Midlands are currently looking for Fitter's Mates to join experienced Engineers in their Service and Installation Team on a permanent basis.
With a reputation for quality and timely delivery and utilising a strong and loyal customer base, the Company has been experiencing rapid and sustained growth.
Industrial / Roller Shutter Door Fitter's Mate duties include:
- Working as part of a two-person team (or more on some projects)
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the Midlands using a company van
- Assisting in carrying out repair work, servicing and maintenance to all types of industrial door including roller shutters, sectional, high-speed and sliding folding doors
- Other products can also include barriers, grilles and gates
- Providing excellent customer service and professionalism at all times
- Good communication and teamwork skills are needed
Experience and competencies required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Industrial Door sector is essential
- A CSCS Card would be an advantage but relevant training can be offered
- Ability to accurately measure and utilise hand and power tools effectively is required
- A full manual Driving Licence (ideally clean or minor points) is ideal but not essential
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Positive communication abilities both verbally and in writing are required
- The ability to utilise IT equipment such as a tablet and smartphone will be advantageous
- A flexible, positive attitude to work and your role is requested
