Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in event management/coordination in an agency or corporate environment.
Creative, autonomous and entrepreneurial approach – able to self-manage and prioritise own workload.
Ability to problem-solve, prepared to make decisions when necessary, and not afraid to challenge current ways of working.
Good knowledge of UK, European and international events venues and suppliers.
Exceptional organisational skills, able to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable and confident in client meetings.
Flexible, prepared to work occasional unsociable hours during events, including weekends.
Positive, can-do attitude.
Experience with event management software would be preferable (ideally EventsAir).
Additional languages are not required but would be beneficial.
About the Role
The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Event Operations Manager, Operations teams and the wider local and international CTM M&E teams to deliver a variety of meetings and events, for 10 to 100+ attendees.
Project types range from board meetings and team building to complex, multi-day events, which you will manage on behalf of our diverse client base covering industries from Technology to Pharmaceutical, Financial Services and Retail.
The role also involves a high level of client engagement and relationship-building, both to improve our customers’ experience and secure new and repeat business for CTM M&E.
