About the Role:
Our client are seeking a proactive and customer-focused 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone with solid technical skills, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to deliver exceptional support to end-users and clients.As a 2nd Line Engineer, you'll be responsible for handling escalated support tickets, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and ensuring that IT systems and services run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated from the 1st line support team.
- Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure.
- Maintain, monitor, and administer internal and client IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with 3rd line support and external vendors when needed.
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Assist in IT projects such as migrations, deployments, and upgrades.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a 2nd line support or similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
