My client is currently seeking an experienced, Level 4 qualified Paraplanner to enhance our team. This role involves close collaboration with financial advisers and sales support teams, providing crucial support across various stages of clients' financial journeys—from protection for young families to retirement and business exit planning. Candidates who do not yet have their Level 4 qualification but possess extensive experience in the field are also encouraged to apply.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparing and maintaining client files.
- Implementing recommendations and ensuring all compliance paperwork is present.
- Conducting due diligence associated with the investment committee.
- Providing technical support and coaching team members.
- Writing detailed reports based on clients' requirements.
- Serving as a point of reference for advisers.
- Continuously researching and reviewing market products available.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role, preparing Annual Reviews and Recommendation Reports.
- Proficiency with Intelligent Office, CashCalc, Genovo, & FE Analytics (or similar systems).
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan own workload.
- Thorough understanding of all compliance regulations.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to use initiative based on research findings.
- Level 4 Diploma desired.
- Adaptable and eager to take on new challenges.
- Interest or experience in Later Life Financial Advice/Planning is a plus but not essential.
