A global law firm with an Employment and Labour Group which spreads across its offices worldwide.

One of only a few firms that can provide multinational businesses with a coordinated solution for all their employment and benefits needs throughout the world. Clients are an interesting variety across all sectors, with specific expertise in retail, transport and hospitality.

THE ROLE

An excellent opportunity for a 1-4PQE Associate Employment lawyer to join the growing practice in London.

You can expect a broad mix of work including HR advisory, employment tribunal litigation, M&A and outsourcing, working with a range of household name clients. You will also work on large global projects with other Associates across the network.

The focus of the team is on stand-alone employment law work but they also provide support to the corporate, restructuring, TMT and real estate departments. As a result, this role would give you the chance to get involved in work with a variety of clients rarely available.

Responsibilities
* You will take a supporting role on a variety of transactions across a range of sectors, including international projects, multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions and global HR work;
* Build and maintain client relationships;
* Advise on day-to-day employment law issues for a variety of clients;
* Act in the defence of employment tribunal litigation;
* Advise and support in relation to employment related investigations;
* Contribute to business development and speak at webinars/seminars and client training sessions;
* Contribute to thought leadership and raise the profile of the firm externally.

ABOUT YOU

You will ideally have experience of:
* Most, if not all, aspects of pure employment work e. employment tribunal claims, advising on grievances, disciplinaries and employment relations matters;
* Advising on TUPE, outsourcing agreements, restructuring and redundancies;
* Employment corporate support work e. drafting the employment section of due diligence reports, negotiating warranties and indemnities;
* Advising and supporting on global employment projects involving multiple countries and multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions;
* Legal research on key employment issues;
* Drafting and reviewing staff handbooks, contracts, policies and procedures;
* Client seminars and training;
* Business development;
